Since the end of 1990, the number of employees at GMP has declined by 11 percent, while the number of customers has grown by 6 percent. |
| In 1995, the Company implemented a new organizational structure and improved its operating efficiency. GMP ended the year with 350 employees (measured in full-time equivalents), a reduction of 23 from the beginning of the year. The number of customers served per employee increased by 8 percent, from 216 customers per employee in 1994 to 233 customers per employee in 1995. | |

In conjunction with its reorganization, GMP offered a voluntary retirement incentive plan, which 24 of 29 eligible employees accepted. To put its new organization into place, the Company also eliminated some jobs and created others. As a result, 27 employees found new positions in the organization.
