Vermonters had a more promising and heartening response to the Company's stock. During the year, GMP made several amendments to its Dividend Reinvestment and Stock Purchase Plan (DRIP). One revision to the DRIP made it possible for Vermont's residents to purchase GMP's stock directly from the Company. During a four-month period in 1995 and early 1996, Vermonters purchased 13,000 shares of GMP stock. To our way of thinking, this positive response shows that those who know the Company best--our customers--hold it in high regard.
